Nick Damgaard Jensen is the Energy Counselor at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C., where he leads Denmark’s government-to-government energy partnerships with U.S. federal and state stakeholders. Beyond managing these strategic partnerships, Nick monitors the broader U.S. energy policy landscape. He joined the embassy in 2022, following key roles at the Danish Energy Agency and the Consulate General in Chicago, where he specialized in exporting Danish regulatory and commercial expertise within the offshore wind sector. Nick holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from Aarhus University.
