Hala N. Ballouz is the Founder, Board Chair, and Chief Vision Officer of Electric Power Engineers (EPE), a global power systems advisory firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. As its former CEO, she built EPE into a leading firm helping utilities, developers, technology companies, and policymakers address complex energy transition challenges.

A licensed Professional Engineer and recognized industry leader, Hala focuses on integrated systems planning and the design of flexible, resilient power grids. Today, her work brings together global experience and cross-regional perspectives to help leaders navigate the reliability, resilience, affordability, and sustainability challenges shaping the future of energy systems.

Hala also serves on several boards, including the Texas A&M Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory Board at her alma mater. She is the recipient of the Texas A&M 2025 Eminent ECE Graduate Award, the 2020 Woman in Power Award, and the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 (Gulf South Region).
