EILIF ROSOK

Executive Chef
Royal Norwegian Embassy

Chef Eilif Rosok is a Norwegian-born culinary talent who spent a decade training in the kitchens of Paris — including time at three Michelin-starred restaurants — before becoming the Norwegian Embassy Chef in the French capital. In 2024, he was handpicked by Ambassador Anniken Huitfeldt to bring his culinary vision to Washington, D.C., where he has quietly redefined what it means to cook for a country. A single video from his embassy kitchen became a viral sensation, sparking what is now being called a pastry diplomacy movement — a chain reaction of embassies across Washington picking up their own cameras and sharing their culinary stories for the first time. Eilif has turned the role of embassy chef into something far larger: part diplomat, part content creator, part cultural ambassador — making embassy dining relevant, watchable, and genuinely exciting again.
